LOL, the only place that has ever been said is on idolator.com, where some idiot said he heard the same exact version of better when it was being shipped to directors for a video.  since there is very little chance that this version of better is the final version, the guy is obviously full of shit.

Honestly, why would anyone think that March 6th means ANYTHING at all? I know, I know... "but Axl saaaaiiid". Well Axl always says. And it's always bullshit. Who can even keep track of all the promises and claims that have been made about this album that he supposedly made with god knows what musicians. He obviously feels no obligation to his fans in any way, and frankly, it's pretty annoying.

March 6 means nothing to Axl, and should mean nothing for GnR fans as well.

I don't think we'll hear anything until they make a statement to announce the Asian tour dates. And even then it will probably be something vague about the album coming out in the summer or fall, which could easily come and go without any album.

Hate to say this on my first post, but..

March 6th is just over 2 weeks away. We haven't seen any artwork, advertising, or radio play. So lets not kid ourselves with that date. I think it was very nice of Axl to make the statement he did. It was a bold move announcing a TENTITIVE date and I'm sure everyone involved is trying their hardest to make it happen. We'll know when it's coming out when the band/label announce an official release date not a "tentitive" one.

It's close though. I've been having GN'R dreams almost every night. haha
