This is saddening. Unfortunately, I have a feeling he will never put his life back in order, or he would already have done it. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to hear he passed away, just like when it happened to Layne Staley. It's like watching a trainwreck. The question is not so much "if", but "when". I think he is so stuck in 80s and his life hasn't progressed one bit that the only guys who can show him support and he might listen to are Slash, duff & izzy. They should take him under their wings like they did with Scott. They don't have to make him the drummer but just consult the poor guy before it's too late.  Adler smoked a joint that was given to him by a fan back in 2002. I saw it with my own eyes so this is no surprise

It is however very sad Adler has fallen back into his old habits but somehow not suprising.

People know what happens when you use a drug like smack or coke or any other drug. It can really fuck you up. Even pot killed my guitarist by giving him a drug indused psychosis after using it only a hand full of times. I'm not gunna preach about the effects of drugs but I aint gunna sympathise for anyone that has done this to themselves.

No one said he was taken to the hospital for anything other then his hand. But the fact remains he was on drugs and fired his whole band and screwed them out of money and left them stranded in Germany. Which proves hes still fucked up.
