Well soundgarden opened for a gnr at a certain point... Maybe it's just a flashback. What looks strange to me is that they use the original song in this teaser (but maybe it's just the actor teaser) and for being just a "flashback" the axl character looks very detailed...even the thing he always did with the mic.
