Yep, they also played it in the episode that was a rip off of Thelma & Louise... when Marge gets in the car with the neighbour.

Haha...dream on.  Sad

The Simpsons have always done great guest bits with music stars.  My favourite was that bit from the "Homerpalooza" episode where Peter Frampton's pig isn't working.

"Hey Springfield!  Do you feel?  Do you...do you...do you feel...dammit, my pig isn't working.  HEY!  Sonic Youth is in my cooler!"

Yeah , that was classic.  Grin

Remember the poison cover band at Otto's wedding?! Haha. And the time "Phish" were doing a concert for legalizing weed.

"Do I smell pot? That better be medicinal or phish is outta here!"

Only a small thing really, but for people in England who like Cricket. For those who ent from England there is a cricket competition in England call theg twenty twenty cup. Its on tonight on Sky Sports and after every wicket that falls they play music over the tannoy system and it has been Welcome to the Jungle on there all evening!! When you see the rowd shots when it comes on you can see people getting excited as soon as they hear it! Nice to see that Guns still get that reaction! P.S For anyone who is an aussie gunner and likes cricket England 2 Aussies 0!! Bring on the ashes!

On the subject of WTTJ  being played on tv.  I was watching the simpsons on sunday, it was the episode were Homer buys an RV in response to marge being so cheap.  They played WTTJ while Homer, Bart and Lisa were partying in the RV.  It was also played in an older episode of the simpsons.

wttj is a staple at sporting events and probably always will.. I was reading an interview about greg gagne closer for the LA dogers and he says he comes in to that song and he was at the canadian show back in the old day with metallica..

so any event like baseball or football that song will live..
