friday's philadelphia daily news had an advertisement for a bar in south jersey called the Woodbine and it said that Steven Adler was appearing there on Sunday, May 1.

I can't find anything online about it.  i've tried calling the place but there hasn't been an answer.

does anyone know anything about this?

I think so.

2. who is singing for them now?

That's a good question. Maybe Joe Leste? The same guy who performed with them in Japan....

I saw them last week.  Joe Leste is the guy from Bang Tango right?  Well its not the bang tango guy, its a new guy.  The new guy was excellent.  He's got a great voice.  They played a few non-Appettite songs.  They were Mama Kin, Sin City (AC/DC cover), 2 new Adler's Appettite songs, Civil War, and Knockin' On Heaven's Door.  But most of the set is Appettite stuff.  It was a good show.

He doesn't really have the look, but he's got good energy up there.  The voice is the main thing...he's got that down.  If he grew his hair and dressed cooler he'd be set.  Also he didn't do too many Axl moves on stage.  I was hoping for the snake dance or something, but he kinda did his own thing.

That would really suck dude...

I mean, why do Axl moves? That would be like Steven trying to copy gnr all over again...

check out the adlers appetite official site, someone has linked to the singers website, turns out he won the worlds largest kareoke competition or something and sang welcome to the jungle live on radio to 5 million people. hah

his own songs are well done, not my taste though, interesting to see how he fares on more traditional rock n roll.

I'm pretty sure that;s what he's trying to do anyway.  They played two original songs, and all the rest were GN'R tunes.  Its a tribute band.  Let's not kid ourselves.
