There have been so many, but which song featuring GnR, or members of Gnr, along with another performer, is your favorite. Very tough for me to choose, but I think I'd have to go with Under my Wheels with Alice Cooper. Kick ass from start to finish. Mama Kin with Steven Tyler would run a close second, though. What's your favorite?

Dont you mean collaboration? I liked the song Axl did with Don Henley on his 'End of the innocence' album. The song was 'I will not go quietly'. Axl just sings the chorus, but its a great song.

probably, not sure of the right word. Singing with someone else, that's what I mean.

JamesLofton29 has the correct answer!  A close 2nd for me is the Elton John/Axl Bohemian Rhapsody at the Freddie Mercury tribute at Wembley Stadium.   love

I don't know many. The one with the singer of Cult, Ian Ashby is he, maybe?

Ps:The discussion on the other thread made me think it might be interesting to see the collaboration of Trent- Axl in the future.  Tongue

Definately Salt of the Earth it's head and shoulders above the rest as far as live collaborations are concerned as for studio stuff, Slash performing I Ain't No Nice Guy with Ozzy & Lemmy.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Ain't It Fun as well.  That's a great cover.  I Will Not Go Quietely was also a good song.  You can't really hear Axl all that well though.

Really? Weird, while me just a newbee about the GN'R world heard this?

They sung a duet on a Steve Jones album
"I Did U No Wrong" Fire n Gasoline November 1989  (Ian Astbury, W Axl Rose and Steve Jones)
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000001169/103-1547773-8567030?v=glance

Also it's said Axl and Izzy jammed with Ian Astbury, Jamie Stewart and Matt Sorum of The Cult in NY July 89 for about 4hrs. did covers such as Mama Kin, Rock And Roll, Satisfaction, Paranoid etc, according to GNR on tour.

BTW, Thanks to your inquiry, I found an interview worthy of note.
Here's a bit from it

Q: How did you come by Axl (Rose) to sing on "I Did U No Wrong"?

S J: I just went up to him in this place called The Bordello, it' a club in Los Angeles, and asked him if he'd want to sing on my record He said, "Alright." He was one of these guys who would always come up and twist my ear.

Q: Like all boozy and smoking a cigarette . . .

S J: Not so much boozy. I seen him lots of times and I never seen him once fucked up, where I'd seen Slash and the drummer, they get down a bit. I thought maybe I'd ask him and have him do me a favour after bending my ear for fuckin' ten hours. Maybe help sell some records. It was fun in the studio. He was cool, I like him. He'd come over to my house and get me motivated to write lyrics. I'm basically pretty lazy, but he got me in gear. Got me motivated. He'd come down and do backing vocals and play tambourine and stuff. He's a genuine guy. Billy Duffy played a solo on that song "Get Ready."

Steve Jones,  NYC - 1989

I was at the Stones concert in Atlantic City when they did "Salt of the Earth". Thats what actually got me into GnR, wasnt too crazy about them before that. What was just as cool was Eric Clapton coming out and playing "Little Red Rooster". John Lee Hooker came out and did a song also. Great night

My favorite though is "I Did You No Wrong" with Ian Astbury
