Title: Concert to watch
Post by: arnarsi on January 27, 2018, 10:20:10 AM
Me and two of my friends are coming over the house tonight for a Gunner night.  We have done the Gunner nights every now and then for over 20 years now but they contain watching Guns N?Roses concerts and drink beer and also our special Gunner drink.  At first we only had the official Tokyo conert and the 92 Paris to watch on a VHS and then later DVD.  Then we got Rio 2001 and more recently the Las Vegas official one.  Tonight we would like to go NITL.  Therefore I would like to get some suggestions from you that is available online, e.g. YouTube and we could watch by air playing on a big screen with good sound system.   So, what do you recommend fellow gunners and if possibly, do you have a link.

I would suggest the July 23, 2016 show at MetLife or the October 11, 2017 at MSG.  I attended both. They were awesome!

Rock in Rio 2017 was a fuckin disaster, worst 2017 axl performance and one of the worst ever (along with rock in rio 2011 and bridge school),,,best proshot ever maybe but dont ever listen to it ... Some 2016 show is awesome and is high quality, metlife, philadelfia... Look for this guy on yt: markit aneight he always has hq videos

I really really didn't think rock in rio dis the tour justice. Definitely an off night in my view. It is the bet quality recording out there though as it was a pro shoot.

I'd personally go for audio instead- the last night in la.

Hello... The Apollo!

Even better, somebody should sync that audio to the video from RIR.

Problem with the Apollo show is the total mess they made of the mixing of the first few songs. Sorted it out after that though.

In terms of voice quality, Axl is much better at Apollo than last night at LA Forum. Some of those songs are pretty rough.

Do you think? I'd say the opposite.

Yes, I do think so. In fact, it is not even close.

Rock In Rio 2017  is a great watch.

That?s a shock because I thought Rock In Rio 17 was a disaster. I don?t think the band could hear themselves properly or maybe just an off day.

Someone synced the soundboard audio of the Apollo stream with video fans took on the night and it turned out great
