Guns N' Roses is my favorite band. That hasn't changed since the day I discovered the band....
No matter what some think.....

But you campaigned against Slash for years and said "real fans" didn't want Slash back

I just never knew you as a hypocrite so I was surprised when I saw you started this thread

For someone with a username like slashofvr, maybe you need to check out the VR on tour section.  Roll Eyes
Not only did Jarmo start or contributed to a number of threads in that section but also attended their shows in Sweden and the UK.
And I'm almost positive he was not wearing a Where's Robin? tee.  hihi

VR put on a good show tonight in Stockholm. No surprises in the set.

Not much talking. Scott just mentioned what "Fall To Pieces" was about (being kicked out if the house or something). He also mentioned how Sweden was the home of pornographic material and had the most beautiful women (he asked Matt for an opinion on that one).

Lots of young people wearing GN'R t-shirts. Makes you wonder how many of them were around in the 90s.....

Crowd seemed to react best to the GN'R tracks, Sex Type Thing as well as Set Me Free and Slither.

The venue was hot as hell.

The opening act was a band called K2 which features Kee Marcello from Europe and they were horrible in my opinion.

I guess some of you here are going to one, two or even all three shows.

Yeah, sure.
I like your simplistic way of thinking. Life is easier that way isn't it?

Campaigned against Slash? Funny.

Slash was gone for 20+ years from GN'R activities. Real fans, managed to find at least some kind of enjoyment during that time period, relating to GN'R.
They didn't have to spend the decades crying about something that they didn't have.

The classic "you don't allow Slash discussions in the main section because you _______" is also amusing. That's right. The main section is focused on GN'R.

I guess it's hypocritical to enjoy the present and not focus on the past....
I'll admit, I'm guilty of that!

The problem with some people is that they read something and assume shit.
They seem to make the assumption that just because I focused on the present at any given time, it must mean I hated the past. Guess what! That's wrong!

I buyed the bluray: Queen Live at the Rainbow 74.....

And its awesome!! Something like that we need from GNR. Its perfect!! A perfect restoration, perfect sound!. What a work!!!.

1974!!!! And its better than lots of GnR stuff. GnR have a debt with the music.... .and thats it the manufacturin live material available.

I know GnR is working on that. I feel it. Good luck with that!

What's wrong with supporting your favorite band ?  it's called being loyal.

AFD Box Set

I doubt the band / label would do this, but fans that play guitar would love for there to be a few disks of instrumental mixes.  1 with just the guitar tracks, so guitar player fans can hear more clearly what they're trying to play.  And maybe another disk of the full mix minus guitar, to play along with.  Same thing w bass tracks maybe.

Also, I'd kill to hear the late 90s version of AFD in its entirety.

Slash once played my Les Paul (pic to the left) & the bass used on "Better" is literally on my living room floor.

Was at the first and last shows of the Bumblefoot era: 5/12/06 NYC & 6/7/14 Vegas

Interesting. I didn't know there were re-recorded song samples from the late 1990's available. Smiley

I remember a rumor that Axl had re-recorded AFD plus "You Could Be Mine."
