Try to track the mothertrotter.Get in touch with your phone operator and see this possibility.I know it is possible to do it here with our local phone operators.You're probably on international roam but might be worth trying.
Itunes block - gps tracking - another possibility

Yup. Gr8 start to the South American tour!!! Did ya expect anything less in Brasil. Sorry bout your phone /jarmo. Contact your CPP and have them wipe the sim just to be safe. Unless it is the police, they won't trace the phone using GPS.
