I like Gilby's albums the best. Next to Pawnshop Guitars, also Hangover is a real great album. Good mix of different sorts of tunes and in general really rockin. Gilby's albums are my number one cd's when I drive my car!

Best album is Loaded-Dark Days and Believe In Me. Duff is the best songwriter of the ex-gunners.

I've always found "Believe In Me" to come closest to the distinguishing musical sound that makes GnR sound so great. Before I heard the album, I was all Slash 'n Axl but this one convinced me that Duff was way more important than people give him credit for. It's incredible how much influence he had on the overall sound of the GnR albums.

It's 5 o' clock somewhere is my fav ex-gunner album at the moment. I tend to shift between that one and Aint life Grand mostly.

"It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" to me is like one of the best albums ever...its just awesome...I guess like a lot of GNR fanboys I do dream about if Axl had added some singing. but at the end of the day, I still love it as is.

I also think "TJ Jail" and "Cure me or Kill Me" are awesome songs from Gilby on Pawnshop guitars (although not hugely into the whole album).

Duff's solo stuff i didn't like when i first heard it but on a relisten last year I really enjoyed it...

And I also like Adler's Appetite.....

Favourite albums:

1. Slash's Snakepit: It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere
2. Slash's Snakepit: Ain't Life Grand?

And the best songwriter is:

Slash, of course.

Neurotic Outsiders is by far the best "solo" band that' is featuring people from GN'R.

And about the solo albums, Izzy, no question about it.

Couldn't agree more, it's a great fun punk rock record from start to finish. I recommend any GN'R fans to check it out, you won't be disappointed.
