Ron makes chili?  I want some.

DJ looks cool on that.  He's kind of magical.

Really looking foreward to tomorrow.  A reason to get out of bed in the morning with a smile on my face.  Lord knows I wish there was another one.

Seriously why the fuck isn't Axl's face the one promoting GN'R? Uh, if it wasn't for boards like this, I wouldn't know who DJ Ashby is. That is bizarre shit. Really strange.

He's gonna be lead guitarist and people know him from Six AM. I love Robin to death but I think DJ is more marketable... I don't know maybe they don't wanna use Axl, as if they don't want fans to think its Just Axl and a backing band ??

Not sure if it's that or they just grabbed the pic from the GnR website.

How do you know if Robin or even Bfoot for that matter are marketable or not? Robin was never put in that position. Out of the guitarists in the band right now, DJ is the guy for that type of stuff but Robin could have done it as well. I doubt he would have wanted to though but def could have.

Either way its a good sign that they are marketing someone other than Axl. Its about time they figured that out

Yeah, you're probably right.  Or they're just mixing it up a bit...either way it's cool. Cool

It's 2:18 am in Toronto, which is the same for Montreal.  The timer shows 5 hours and 40 minutes, which suggests 8:00am...

Pretty exciting; seems like Montreal is a lock, Halifax is 90% and here's hoping a Toronto or at least a Golden Horseshoe (area that surrounds lake Ontario for those non Canadians) gets a date.

Cheers,

Andrew

Great!

The Montreal date was the 27th, which could suggest at least a few more to come  Cheesy

That's awesome, makes you think this is definitely a cross-Canada tour.  I just remembered that here in Canada the album was #1 its first week, which beat how it performed in the US, so perhaps GNR is just paying us some love for our appreciation of a fine record.  I think it sold somewhere in the neighbourhood of 50-60k copies the first week, keep in mind we're 1/10th the population of the US.  Had it sold at the same ratio in the US it would have been #1.

Anyway, a few more hours to go and we should know the whole pictures.

I feel like a kid on Christmas eve!

Cheers,

Andrew

I have to say, I give 'em credit for keeping ticket prices in line with what they were in 2006. $49.50 - $89.50 ain't bad in this day in age. Mind you, after taxes and bullshit service charges it will likely be $65-$110, but that isn't GNR's fault.

Live-nation pre-sale on Wednesday, General Sale on Friday.

I often find the general sale gets better seats... It's sad that those who get pre-sale tickets usually get poor seat availability.

Cheers,

Andrew

come on, you know damn well if it was Axl then you'd get comments like "see its all about Axl".  I think its good that they are using other band members for promo because this is indeed a band.
