The Year in Music 2017: Guns N? Roses have the time of their life on Not in This Lifetime Tour

saw founding Guns N? Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan rejoin the band for the Not in This Lifetime Tour, marking the first time the two rockers had been part of the lineup since the 1990s. Slash and Duff McKagan?s reunion with Axl Rose apparently was a harmonious one, because the band decided to extend the trek well into the New Year.

The 2017 edition of the Not in This Lifetime Tour kicked off January 21 in Osaka, Japan, and didn?t wind down until a November 29 show in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, California.

After a run of Japanese shows to start the trek, the band continued on to Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia before winding down their first 2017 leg on March 3 in the United Arab Emirates. GN?R then mounted a European trek that was mapped out from a May 27 show in Slane, Ireland, through a July 12 concert in Nijmegen, Netherlands, and capped with a July 15 show in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Guns N? Roses spent most of the summer touring North America, beginning with a special show at New York City?s Apollo Theater on July 20 and running until a September 8 concert in San Antonio.

The band played four late-fall shows in South America, then wrapped up their 2017 itinerary with another North American leg that launched October 8 in Philadelphia and wrapped up November 29 near LA.

Shortly before the end of the trek, Guns N? Roses received two major honors at the 2017 Billboard Touring Awards: the Top Tour and Top Draw prizes. The awards recognize, respectively, the highest-grossing and most-attended trek of the past year.

Guns N? Roses will keep the Not in This Lifetime Tour going in 2018, having already confirmed June-July European leg. Including 2016 and 2017, GN?R?s trek has grossed $430 million, making it the fourth-most-successful tour of all time.

Well deserved.   :D  Congrats to them, the crew and all the fans behind the band.  Personally, I've been having a great time.

not correct. GNR is second, behind U2.

U2's "Joshua Tree" celebration tour grossed $316 million to claim the top slot on the list.
Guns 'N Roses was a close second with $292 million in sales.

anyway, nice second place  : ok:
