Nice LEAD spot...

Richard is the kind of guy who is at his best when he is front line, when he has a big role. That's how he shines.
I hope Axl will now let him express himself in the band now. He is too good to be "in the back".

Can someone upload it on Youtube or something?

On Mygnr, they are saying Fortus kicks some serious ass and that he should be the sole Lead Guitarist of the band. I want to watch this performance  Smiley

thanks, is it me or does he have some trippy bumblefootbuckethead influence going on ?

What does it mean? Why do you feel the need to bring BH or BBF in? He is better than them Tongue
Richard is talented enough to be recognized on his own. He only needs to be given more.

Uhm, first don't chew my head off and start crying your heart out.

Good fuckin God.

There's some licks in there that sound kinda robotic, that's all. I was just wondering if all this time playing with industrial and virtuosos some of it stuck in him.

Relax motherfucker. Take a pill.

Ouch...4tus was good on guitar, but as much as I like country - that was very difficult to listen to.   That singer is certainly no Axl Rose...or Tim McGraw/Vince Gill/George Strait for that matter.  no

See I hate country music and I didn't think that was half bad.  I thought it rocked, for a country song.

GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist FORTUS Performs With COUNTRY BONES On 'Leno'; Video Available - May 7, 2009

Video footage of GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Richard Fortus performing with COUNTRY BONES on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on April 28, 2009 can be viewed below.

COUNTRY BONES plays hard-driving Americana truck-driving music familiar to fans who love classic bands like LYNYRD SKYNYRD, GEORGE HAMILTON IV and DAVE DUDLEY. The songs are performed with exceptional musicianship and written by lead singer Larry "Bones" Dennison. Lyrics are fresh, irreverent and expressed with a sense of humor.

Born in Creve Coeur, Missouri, Bones gets back to his country roots after years of touring internationally and performing on albums for such diverse artists as LITA FORD, DIO and Robert Bradley's BLACKWATER SURPRISE. He joins forces with hometown childhood friend Richard Fortus, who has been playing guitar with GUNS N' ROSES since 2002. Grammy Award-winning musician J.D. Maness, who also plays with Merle Haggard, adds standout pedal steel guitar. The COUNTRY BONES album was helmed by multi-platinum producer Bruce Robb (SHELBY LYNNE, JOHN COUGAR MELLENCAMP, LEVON HELM).
