You know, mike, I've thought that very same thing about there being no videos. I was just being hopeful about that dream video for the blues. CD will not be promoted in a traditional sense. Most likely no videos. I wouldn't be surprised if there's no tour either. I think it will just be released, and thats it. Very little promotion. I also wouldnt be surprised if Axl doesn't do any in depth interviews. The album is gonna sell itself on the 12 year hype.

No, my opinion wouldn't change, I don't suffer from rock-star-idolization syndrome.
Besides which, I think a music video is a little out of Halle's league. After Catwoman, the X-Men movies and Gothika, she might have to go back and re-train those acting chops, possibly in Gap commercials.

i just wanna hear the album to see if its good or not. i doubt it highly though. But it would be nice for axl to produce a good album for me to listen to since thats hard to find from anything new at the mo.

Mrlee, I also have doubts about quality of CD. But when i have those doubts, I remember the magic Axl helped create in the 80's/early 90's and figure he MUST be able to do something that can come at least semi-close to that. It has to rival Illusions, at least quality wise. I'm not expecting AFD. No band on earth can ever recreate the magic of AFD. I'm not even expecting a 2 cd set like alot of fans are. I would just like an album of Axl's best 9 or 10 songs. I would be happy with that.

i want to hear it all really, i bet even silkworms and rhiad would be interesting...

but to actually hear it, it will be a crazy moment and impossible to be unbiased. it will take a long time to fully digest im guessing...
