that Axl said he wrote about his feelings when he was in a court room (I think had something to do with S. Seymour) and it was during the Oklahoma City bombings and he was just blown away at how people could care about what was going on (in court) when something so horrible had just happened.

Was it TWAT???

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

This is for BabyGorilla and the people like him.
Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

i think youre right... it might have been the blues... i know it was one of the songs from the vegas show and i think the blues was the only one that he doesn't say the title before the song... so it prob was the blues...

ok cool, glad someone likes it! haha.  Interesting, I'll have to go back and listen to those tunes now to see if I get a new perspective on them lyrically.

As much as I love getting my own meaning out of songs, I would love to know the meaning/inspiration behind all the new tunes.  I just figure over 15+ years Axl has gone through A LOT.

Oklahoma was the working title for I think Rhiad.

That's an unconfirmed rumor that's been going around for years.

I believe it started at one of the Vegas shows where Oklahoma was on the setlist, and instead of playing that, the band played Riyadh in its place.
