Just a quick couple notes on the shiw:
-most intimate/personal/smallest GNR show I have ever been to.
-great to see the guys so close and personal, including being on a stage that could barely fit the guys!
-funny to see them with wired guitars and such trying not to trip over one another
-dancers swinging from the rooftops were a little distracting from time to time. DJ loved them and was making signals to them to come down and he was acting like he was praying towards them.
-to the guy who threw the bottle/glass at Ron and the guys - FUCK YOU. you're a dick. probably someone who could care less about the band and was just there with a friend or just cause he was invited by the Hiro people or the sponsor. regardless - I hope you got the shit kicked out of you since I think I saw him get ripped out and during "This I Love" DJ ran over to that side of the stage and there was a commotion while the song was stopped.
-Axl was in a great great mood from what I could tell. laughing, joking about what to play next saying "well it's been awhile" or "oh well since Richard wants to play this I GUESS we will..." etc.

Very honored and feel tremendously lucky to have attended tonight.

I got there during the last half of Sweet Child. Slept all day from nine am to Midnight 'till I was awaken to get to this. Best hour of a show I've seen. Mic landed two or three people to my left. Spoken intro by Axl for Civil War was amazing. Crowd yells "Nightrain" and Axl goes "your wish is my command"

Someone look this up (I am at work or I would) - when was the last time GNR did not play November Rain? Not including the acoustic shows and stuff. Granted there was no room for the piano, I am just curious about this factoid!
