Not surprising, but he said right off the bat that he wouldn't take any "new album" questions. He gave some neat trivia on how the "Wish You Were Here" spot came about before the Vegas show, where they needed to fill time for Axl to be rolled out - and the piano to be rolled in.
He confirmed that he would/was using the Gretsch for the album recording. So there was one indirect reference to the new album. Just be honest, if nothing is happening then say it. It's crazy how my favorite band is shrouded in secrecy. :beer:
