a person said they were in the Village in NYC and saw a poster of VMA's with Axl's pic and said they think that at VMA's, they will announce CD release date.

i'll believe it when i see it and/or will wait for an official announcement though.

I don't know why but I doubt you'll see axl at the vmas again, but then there's the side that says they kiss his ass so maybe.. I just think with the youth loving pop and rap they don't have to have older band sunless it was a monumental reunion or something..

This MIGHT be true.

In the new issue of Blender magazine (with Paris Hilton on the cover) there is indeed a full page ad for the VMAs (showing the moonman statue though) with a huge purple box over it and the phrase ALL WILL BE REVEALED.

So if this guy is lying, he's half right anyway.

Anywho, I doubt anything will happen at the VMAs with regards to CD being announced.  We'll see, though.  If it's a commercial during the VMAs or something, that would be expensive, I would think.

Okay, I just registered to give you this info. I saw a commercial on VMA 2006 last week on MTV in the early afternoon, and it was featuring all of the artists. While I was still listening, I heard Guns N' Roses, with a short Band Pic(Some Concert they attended that was taken), and that was it. It was a short commercial, but I couldn't believe my ears. I went to HGTGH or Chinese Democracy, and there was nothing about this. I was shocked! Then when someone say that they saw a pic with Axl w/ VMA on it, I had to reply. You may say "Fowl!" but I don't care. I'm not trying to give hope or anything, but I'm just trying to tell you that I experienced this.

Of course, there should be talks about Guns N' Roses coming to VMA 2006 because I know about 2 million people watched that commercial, but I'm surprised nobody was talking about it.
