Did Finck not wear a kind of leather kilt at the NY shows?  Anyone know if the Glasgow show is sold out?  I tried to call the SECC today but couldn't get through.

Exactly!  my dad's an old scottish dude and takes great pride in wearing his kilt - and it looks great.  I reckon axl definately should wear one - it would be a nice way to acknowledge the fact that they never bloody played in scotland before..... no

there selling them loads now on ebay at buy it now price of around ?44 which is ?2 quid less than i paid on rip off ticketmaster

Gonna stop this crap about kilts, etc. Its bordering on racism. I'm Scottish, living in Glasgow, and this thread is the same as saying,

"Would Axl wear a turban if Guns N Roses played in Delhi?"

I think you're overreacting a bit.

No, it's not the same as saying "Would Axl wear a turban if Guns N Roses played in Delhi?", because as far as I know he didn't wear a turban back in the old days. This thread did not come out of nothing, Axl used to wear it during the Illusion tour.?

i think you're overreacting a lot.  "racism" - I'm scottish too and I have no issue with kilt comments - its part of our heritage.  I think axl should wear one at this gig - and the main reasoning was that he used to wear one a hell of a lot - it wasnt just a random fashion request.  Like yours with the turban!! - come on, lighten up!   ok
