but still, Chinese Democracy is known to be the long awaited album from GNR... has been for god knows how long... so if they change the title i think alot of people would wondering what happeneed to CD...

It would be a pretty bad idea to change the title now. The title ' chinese democracy' has been hyped over the years. Just think of the many times that title was mentioned in the reviews of the European shows. It would be a waste of cheap promotion.

İn that eddie trunk thing he did, he said he wanted to go to china (and did) before they banned them cause of the name.Maybe he was just reffering to the song, but i think he was talking about the album title.

i love surprises, so if the name is another one, i'll like the idea.

i mean...of course chinese democracy is now a well-known name...but it can be a huge buzz to change it too.

all the media will report it anyway "chinese democracy is not the name of the new GNR, it's ***** ** *******.

actually in the richard fortus email thread on the last page an email said we cant wait for the public to hear chinese democracy finally!!! or something like that..

and also, i reeeally cant see how/why any of u guys wuld even think that the name would be changed. not a chance Tongue

I hope it's called "Chinese Democracy" after all this time.  And honestly, whatever its name, I just want the album to come out.  In the meantime, I'll make do with my "Chinese Demo-cracy" album, consisting of the demos and live tracks that will likely be on the CD...

It will be called Chinese Democracy, Axl went through a lot of trouble to secure the name for this release.  It's pointless to change the name now.
