I just read that Paul McCartney is bringing his OUT THERE tour to LA at Dodger's Stadium on August 10th, 2014. IN honor of Axl's recent lifetime achievement award and the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles invading America, wouldn't it be cool if Axl and Paul did a duet of Live and Let DIE!!! beer smoking hihi The fireworks at Miller Stadium in Milwaukee were breathtaking!

Have you seen and heard Paul's arrangement of "Live and Let Die" lately?
He is basically playing homage to the Guns version now.

I feel the original recording sounded dated compared to  the GN'R version, but that may have been due to technology...Check out old YouTube clips and you will notice the live version Paul Mcartney does has always been much closer to the GN'R version...

I dig this version very much https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEBP7LgBROI

Would be fun to hear the story behind the cover. If it isint about giving paul more money and pissing off some journalist, of course.

I t would be cool if they did a duet thats for sure, hehe,

But i'm going to disagree with you,I've seen McCartney 5 times and his version is the definitive version,of that I've no doubt, simply put the man can rock even at 71 years old,Guns's version is excellent as well but i'd wager Axl sees his version as a tribute to the song, even back in the 70's Macca had the fireworks going during the song and I've little doubt Axl knows this and pays homage to McCartney and the song.

Wouldn't it be cool if Axl and Elvis did a duet of Heart Break Hotel?  It could happen.

Elvis is dead. Paul still alive and touring. There is an off chance he and Axl could do Live and Let Die one day
