It sounded great. A nice end to a great inning.

I guess that is the MLB reference that was alluded to in the press release.

Safe to say we will see C.D. in a several weeks !!!!!!!!!

They showed some celebs it would be great to see Axl there this week.  beer

Its kinda prophetic how Axl made the comment to Rolling Stone a few years back: "Go Yankees",
when asked about the Piazza-leaks scandal.

GNR songs have been being played during the Fox broadcast baseball games for years, ever since Fox started with baseball. Mainly WTTJ, PC & SCOM get played here and there. Although I remember Yesterdays getting played during a Cubs pre-game show once.

Its kinda prophetic how Axl made the comment to Rolling Stone a few years back: "Go Yankees",
when asked about the Piazza-leaks scandal.

He said that, because at the time Piazza was the Mets catcher. The Mets... the sworn National League enemy of the Yankees in NYC.

There's nothing prophetic about this.

I hope the Tigers go, but whoever goes i'm predicted Mets 2007 World Champs.

It would be nice to see another Subway series again, instead this time the Mets stick it up the Yanks ass, and sweep them in 4 games and embarrass their asses.

God, how I hate the Yankees.

Old GNR songs have been played at sporting events for YEARS! Jungle is played every few seconds at an NFL or NBA game, and probably baseball as well.

If Better, CD, or some other new song gets played at one of these events, then its news worthy.

An AFD song playing somewhere isn't newsworthy.

That and other reasons is why this band is not really Guns N' Roses.     Roll Eyes

It's a different thing, for me, it's always nice to hear old songs played in front a lot of people.   peace

Hearing a GNR song at a sporting event is like hearing The National Anthem at a sporting event. It isnt that special. Stop over reacting.

Did anyone catch the Patriots/Bengals game on Sunday?  They played Welcome to the Jungle coming out of a commercial and cut to Jim Nantz who said, "That tune is called Welcome to the Jungle."  Or something to that effect.  It just seemed way out of left field.  Nantz acting like a DJ during a nationally televised football game.  It was ridiculous.
