That Izzy actually did apologize about it does make Axl look bad.  Izzy is the one with a more legitimate beef with Vince, and he let it go.  Why can't Axl?  However, this is all assuming what Vince said in The Dirt is true.  Some parts some kinda made up, or at least exagerated.  Like Izzy karate kicking his wife.  And Vince never says how his shot on Izzy was a cheap shot.  When interviewed, Tom Petty, a respectable third party witness, said that Vince hit him from behind.  So who knows who's telling the truth.
