Agreed...Great idea for a thread...I may have had occasions (OK Jarmo, more than my share!) where my faith in this was, shall we say, not at an optimal level; I bitched, moaned, argued, predicted band Armageddon, etc., but at the end of the day, this site kept the ever-loving faithful galvanized and eager.  

This has been a great month of validation for your efforts and the next year will bring even more.  Thank you, Jarmo, for everything..The pre-sales, the news, the forum, everything.

I'd just like to thank you guys at HTGTH for keeping this website running over the years leading to this point. There were so many people that doubted this band but those of us that stuck to our guns, we are about to reap the rewards and finally receive Chinese Democracy in a month's time. Thanks for keeping us updated on the GnR world. I've been loving watching the build up of excitement over the past few months and I think this forum is really taking off with discussion. When the album comes out, this website will be thriving with reviews and discussions about everything. Can't wait. Well done guys!! Keep up the good work

This is going to be the one and only time I'll be genuinely kind to the....well....I'll save my analogies for another time.

It's been 12 years. And personally, I've been driving you insane for the majority of them.

I still remember finding this site after finding out Slash quit the band. That may have been when I first found the site, and I haven't left yet.

You've spent a very, VERY long time promoting the band, bringing news to the fans for next to nothing, not listening to leaks, and most importantly, dealing with me for years without hitting the ban button.

Now that the album is finally on it's way, I think it's only proper to point out that if it weren't for fans like all of us, and most importantly, guys like Jarmo that kept us all from losing our fucking minds over the wait, the album would most likely never have made it into our hands.

Jarmo...we did it. And more importantly, you did it. Thanks for 12 years. I hope Axl has a special thank you in mind for everything you've done for the band's name and reputation.

You deserve every ounce of praise that can be heaped upon you.

I call on everyone, from Boston Dave to Beta to show their thanks to Jarmo for all he's done.

Yeah, I remember the timeline. Until I started hearing about the new album, I was so starved and desperate for news that I kept reading the Phoenix arrest article over and over and looking at the picture. Good times...

Edit: When the Kurt Loder phone interview was typed out and put in the articles section, I actually printed it out and showed it to people. Haha. I was like a starved dog finding a piece of meat.
