This show is MUST SEE!  It's called "When Metal Ruled the World" and it is a VH-1 special.  It chronicles hard rock bands of the 1980s, their lifestyles, and their fame and fortune.

There is a sizable segment on Guns N Roses, which includes the Axl vs Vince feud, the trashing of the Headbanger's ball studio by GNR, the overdosing of Jetboy member and close GNR friend Todd Crew, and many other tidbits about the band.  Some vidclips are shown, photos, TV appearances, and clips from live performances.

You people must check out this show, it is awesome.   Cool

Really?  This is the first time I had seen it.  I don't recall anyone ever posting about it here.

Yeah, it was on about 6-8 weeks ago. It was great. They talk about all the hair-glam crap, then *BAM*, GNR shows up and owns all of 'em. I loved it.

Do you know that Finck was in a glam/hair band back in the day?

Does anyone know if this will be show in the UK?

Most of the bands on the show were shown intermittently for a few seconds each time.  But Guns N Roses got about a 4-5 minute segment nonstop.

Sounds awesome. Last great show I saw on GnR was probably the PowerHour speacial last year with Duff and Slash.
