November Rain was #7 on Q Magazine's list of the 50 Best Videos Ever

7 Guns N' Roses
November Rain [1992]
Hair metal soap opera.

Plot: With Axl Rose putting in a good performance as the groom to supermodel and real-life squeeze Stephanie Seymour's bride, the wedding day is ruined by that pesky November Rain and the untimely death of Rose's wife. Nevertheless, it's Slash who steals the show, standing iconically in a dust storm curling out those trademark riffs.

Behind The Scenes: The plot comes from a short story called Without You by Del James.

Q magazine April 2004

Cool. It sure is a classic video, and it's one of Slash's greatest moments IMO. Him standing in front of that tiny church in the middle of the desert and churn out that solo is a picture I'll never forget..

Hurt definitely deserved the number 1 spot.  That was the first video that I've seen that TRULY elevated music video to art, instead of entertainment.

The bald chick?  That's funny, really funny!  Sorry, I dont see what is so great about that video.  The MTV poll has much better videos listed (at least from the 90's).

I'm most pissed off about Sinead O'Connor's 'Nothing Compares...' being up there. 90% of the entire video is just her face, singing, then crying. Wussupwitdat?
