I don't know man...I think when you can relate, it's a hell of a comfort.  Quite simply, it's a masterpiece.

Haven't heard the original, but AFAIK it's by The Who, so maybe it'd be better to try it first. Just to get the respect where it belongs...

November Rain is soooooooooooooooooooo inspiring to me!
I think its AMAZING!
It still makes me shiver!
SCOM is a better video though!
However its tough decision to make as Slash stands in ther desert playing so well... manly {i'm not good ith words!}
but anyway you know what i mean!
the power that comes off him and his guitar is electrifying!

The ending is absolutely ASTONISHING!
I mean the song starts lovely n' soft, n' throughout the power of the guitar gets stronger just like the piano, until it Mr. Slash bursts on the scene spreading his greatness!
At the end the chants, the scream,s guitar, bas, drums, choir everythinmg about it!
The rain n' wind affects at the beginning n' end ROCK!

Pure coolness, beauty and passion throughout making this song as we know November Rain a genius!

SwedeChildO'Mine,
Thank you for clarifying that.  Limp Bizkit's version of Behind blue Eyes is absolutely terrible.  You had me scared there before the edit.
Nov. Rain is a masterpiece.  Others may want to lump it into the same category as Estranged, but they are like apples and oranges, they aren't the same.  Both are amongst the Top 5 GNR songs in my book.

I think NR is the second greatest song ever written behind Estranged.

I think both of theses songs are even better when you can relate to them in some ways. I think they are great anytime and it's does matter what mood you are in.  Smiley

I tried to be ironic against this "music expert".

But then I realized that people thought I was real.

I was once able to relate to the song perfectly...which was cool...it's great to be able to be in exactly the same place a great songwriter was when we wrote an amazing song.
