I know this is hella old news but Ive never heard the story behind this. Why did Duff leave the band?

I remember Gilby saying something like when there was tension in the band, it was usually Duff and Axl vs him and Slash.

"I left Guns N? Roses because the band didn?t correspond to me anymore. What?s left of the band has nothing to do with what we had created. I even think what?s left is not Guns N? Roses."

We take for granted we know the whole story

Yeah... we're not used to talk about Duff's side of the story. It's always Slash and Axl, Slash and Axl. I thought the interview was very interesting and enlightening... I had never read Duff's take on the matter this developed.
