It might have a little to do with the picture being approximately 13 years old.  However, it does appear that Axl hasn't gone grey much aside from a tad bit by the sideburns.  That's pretty awesome considering the levels of stress I imagine he's had with the ridiculous expectations people have had over the years, the lawsuits, being asked about the next album an infinite amount of times, etc.

That was in 2000.Gilby was jamming with Slim Jim Phantom's band and Axl got up to sing a couple of Stones songs.
Funny thing is that when Gilby played Greece some years back i asked him about it and he denied it  Roll Eyes

Axl's handwritten lyrics for "Oh My God" given to me by Mr. Del James. According to Del, Axl had to re-write the lyrics out to be put in the teleprompter after several technical problems during the show at The Joint on 12.29.01 (which I witnessed!) especially during the performance of this song!
The photo is cut off a bit but Axl numbered each sheet in the right hand corner. I believe there are six sheets total and I know someone who has the second but would love to find everyone who has one & make a collage!

No unfortunately though I got to meet Axl briefly in 2006 & I'm not into autographs but my friend Ana Gasteyer got me Axl's autograph & a shout out when she was on Kimmel the same night he was. Haha.

Soon as I saw that I could tell Axl wrote that, look at the "A's" just as he signs autographs  ok

First of all, how killer are those OMG lyrics?  Awesome.
Second, Axl's handwriting is quite unique, eh?  With the lack of real news right now, perhaps we could get a handwriting expert in here to analyze this.
