Here Today...

Thought it might be a good idea to have a place where we can put up any Axl or GnR mentions spotted in the press! So we can keep up on how the press are treating the band around the world. It seemed like a good idea in my head, hopefully you will think so too!

Kerrang - Wednesday 15th November 06
"250 Rock Anthems You Must Own

Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns n' Roses
A tribute to Axl Rose's then-girlfriend Erin Everly, this unforgettable combination of sweet melody and priapic swagger became Guns N' Roses first US Number One single. Thanks to Rose's soaring, sneering vocal and Slash's ridiculously cool solo, it turned its debauched creators into global superstars.

K! Fact: GN'R originally though the song was too light for inclusion on "Appetite For Destruction", but their management convinced them otherwise."

Big Cheese - December 06
" Good Morning America: Los Angeles - Music, West Coast Style

The W. Axl Rose touring bandwagon known as Guns N' Roses made its appearance at the KROQ Inland Invasion. After a reported hour-plus delay, they finally made their long awaited appearance and rocked the crowd. At the pace this fiasco keeps delaying the alleged release of their new release (if there are any in existence), they are better off touring alone and not releasing anything" - Rei Nishimoto

Hope you enjoy! I'll put up anything else I spot in the UK press. Feel free to share anything you find!
