Great shot.

The 2002 is faster and faster becoming THE cult GNR tour of alltime.

Now, I love the old band and I love the new band and the 2006/2007 stands as probably the most succesful and enjoyable tour the band has ever done, but there's something intriguing about that 2002 tour.

I dunno. It just.. appeals to me.

The way the band sounded, how the tour was handled and carried out and the way it all ended. No press, screw everyone and here we go. I mean, even less press than the 2006/2007 run from the band officially and the CKY/Mixmaster Mike warm-up and Buckethead.. And Axl himself with his big-ass full braids then and his choice of football, hockey and baseball jersies for the cities they played (awesome).

The press not knowing how to handle any of it:  From the band playing to (overall) 75% full arenas in the US which was pretty cool stuff given the situation in 2002, and Axl's choice of tour wardrobe.. so he's wearing oversized jersies and sweat pants.. so, eh, he MUST be overweight, right? Hilarious. Axl was what.. 75 kgs on a good day? To Buckethead being Buckethead.

It's all pure cult to me  Cool

Are you sure it's Kat Mack?  This woman looks a little long in the tooth...I only found one other photo of Kat & she looked much younger & prettier(sorry).

I totally agree. Despite Axl not sounding as good as he does now it still was an amazing tour and time period.

This really is none of our business.

But I'm curious where you heard this since it seems like a few of you are repeating the same story over and over again.

I haven't seen anything about it in any news articles.

So, please enlighten us. Where did you hear that?
