I'm gald one of my most favorite bands I grew up ?listening to reunited. They rescued Live Aid from being butchered by shit artists because modern popular ?music is un-talented and is an embarrasment . So they said 20 years ago ,Live Aid was the day music changed forever so I hope a new music generation will dawn soon after Live 8.

Well people looks like we are in for a long wait, 25 years add another 10 because it's GN'R lol.

Every other band that has fallen out, has eventually got back.  I hope they do it before they are in their 50's though!

Pink Floyd.....wow, what a performance. It sounded unbelievable and was truly the definition of "epic". I was floored. beer ps The thing I love about Floyd is that their music translates well with age. In other words, Waters and Gilmour didn' look silly out their playing those songs. Unlike the Stones, where Jagger and Richards look like cartoons while performing their old classic rockers. Hard rock is a young man's game and stuff like the Stones and say AFD era Gnr can't be performed as well at 45-50-60 years old. The artist is too refined by that point. Whereas Floyd, the music was refined when they created it in their early twenties to 30's. It still has the same feel at 60 that it did at 25. Now, our little redhead should strive to make more music like that at his advanced age-songs like Breathe and Comfortably Numb and Mother. One, that is what he is good at-epic type stuff and two, it would allow him to perform over the next decade. To me, he looks silly now performing afd and looks much more comfortable with stuff like Madagascar and The Blues. Just my two cents.- yes

Pink Floyd was one of my fav as a child and I know Axl  would say the same. I wouldn't make a choice on who I rather see reunite cause I think we've only seen a 1\4 of what Axl can do. Those old GNR days are gone and locked way deep inside, yep I'll miss it. The times are much different these days and if you were there to witness floyd and gnr both you've been blessed. I'd now much rather see Axl and New GNR more than anything!

Guns N Roses by far.  Pink Floyd reuniting for the Live 8 was pretty cool, but I still think their music is shit. I think pretty much everybody on this board would give damn near anything to see Axl and Slash perform together again.

You think Pink Floyd's music is shit?? I guess you've never heard 'Dark Side of the Moon'. I agree with you that a GNR reunion would be much better, and it would be more relevant. But C'MON! How can you say Pink Floyd sucks! I would actually put 'Dark Side of the Moon' in the top 10 albums of all time. If CD is even just half as good as this album, I'll be happy.

is this stating which band is more likely to re-unite or who would i prefer to re-unite? If its most likely, im going with Pink Floyd because they already did re-unite. Preferably, I'd have to also go with Pink Floyd because a GN'R reunion would mean too much tendion between the guys onffstage and possibly onstage, although in contradiction to that i would love to see GN'R bury thier grudges and get all the old guys to re-unite, that would be one awsome show.  beer

It?s a tough choice but I would have to go for GnR since they had less time in the spotlight.

Yeah, I have DSOFM and it just doesn't ... "do anything" for me.  Maybe because I wasn't around then, I can't fully apreciate them.    Undecided

Pink Floyd, because.....I want to see what the new GNR can do before they have a reunion.

Maybe Axl and Syd Barrett have more in common than we think.

I'd rather see axl get back together with whatever incarnation of "gnr" he has going on right now and just release an album.

Folks, Floyd live maybe the most incredible machine ever in rock.? Check out Gilmour's second solo, and for that matter the whole performance, of Comfortably Numb by Floyd at Live 8.? Magical!!

When it asks in the upper corner of the pop-up (you may have to hold down CTRL the whole time to override the inherent Windows pop-up-blocker) select "broadband" and it will play.

I believe it would be the re-union to end all re-unions, an absolute dream
