https://torontosun.com/entertainment/music/madonna-sued-by-male-fan-for-staging-sweaty-pornography-style-show

Some idiot is suing Madonna for being vulgar and starting her shows late. Imagine the number of lawsuits GNR would have caught back in the day 🤣 not a serious post but it's downtime for the band and as someone who attended some notoriously late shows I find this hilarious

Slash told Trunk GNR are touring next year, didn't say where.  Guess he's not leaving anytime soon.  Cheesy  The news want to cover it more as GNR is making a new album.  Guess they don't care about a tour.

Do you have a link to the interview?

You don't create a website just to have a website; there's always an underlying purpose or something to offer.

The question is, what is it? The quote featured on the site is exclusive and can't be found elsewhere, suggesting
it's a personal one that hasn't been shared before. if it's never been shared before, it definitely comes from somewhere:

either it's just for the site, or it comes from a song, or it comes... from a book.

or perhaps it's to introduce a new line of racing apparel, which seems unlikely...

I Dont think so. He is an artist, and a well known one. He could just have found out that he wanted his own website. There dont have to be a reason. And there is no sign this has anuthing to do with a book/bio etc. We havent head talks about that for ages..

Doing a little bit of trimming at the garden and the leaf mulch came in.  Game on!  Finished one side of the building, went and got a mani pedi, came back and finished the backside.  Only have two bushes left to trim and my to do list is complete.  Finished off the brush pile so I'm cool at home too.   Cheesy

When the guy dropped off the dumpster yesterday, he said the roofers would start at 7, maybe 6:40.  They were here at 5:40.   hihi  Can't blame them it's hot on those roofs.  A Mexican crew, of course, they get all the grunt work.  Four guys in a two seater van.  They're on it.  My cat has already checked out the van.

Proud of my honest and hard-working countrymen who do everything possible to achieve a better standard of living, even with hard jobs, I know that irregular migration is a very complex issue today from different perspectives, but many are committed to leaving their homes to achieve the famous "American dream", some succeed and others suffer the consequences. I'm glad they have completed the adjustments to your roof.

In this area of the Gulf of Mexico (south of Veracruz) we are experiencing one of the worst heat waves, there is still time to fix the leaks in the roofs  hihi, the rainy season usually begins in mid-May but this year it seems there will not be even light drizzles  Embarrassed.

I'm not sure if it's politically correct to say but I always hope the Mexican guys come to do the labor jobs.  They work their asses off and the job is always good.  I text the company this morning to say besure to tell the crew the neighbor is very happy with their work.  I called them grumpy old men but my friend says bitchy white guys.  hihi

...and now generative AI with which you can create your own music tracks,
in the style you desire, possibly with the voice of your favorite singer.

You ever check out the Axl ones on YouTube?

Some, obviously horrendous.  I would put the vast majority as good, not great.

But the ones that are great are EXCELLENT.  I have a few of him doing Roxette tunes and Adele tunes.  Not artists that typically populate my iPod.  But they are fucking incredibly well done.

I am really ashamed of asking this bc I know Axl will hate these AI cover, but which one of Roxette did you hear? I can't seem to find it anywhere and I am curious which song it is. I listened to the Someone Like You version and I am amazed at how good it is, especially in the chorus. Sounds almost 99% like Axl in early 90's.

A quote from the article:

Since Slash's return in 2016, the band has released a few songs, including "Hard Skool," "Absurd," "Precious," and "The General."

"Precious" is a really cool song rofl

Excellent album. Solid from start to finish and of course killer guitar playing by Slash. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed.
