Just got back and settled into bed. That was pretty awesome. Axl was in a great mood. Slash and Duff stayed extra long after the show throwing things to the fans. I was too far away to take advantage of that. Prostitute was a nice treat! Saw them 15 years ago at the Civic Center, hope it?s not as long next time around. Strangely enough I hung out with the same 7 people tonight as I did 15 years ago and that was the last time we all hung out together. GNR bringing friends together every decade and a half. Let?s do it again in 2032!

They played the outro for the first time!! Goosebumps.  I have been waiting for nine years to hear that, its so good.
Slash did a great job on the solos.

How did Prostitute go down with the crowd? Did people know what it was?

Hard to say from the video but I think it sounded like many knew what is happening.

What a concert!!  I've seen these guys a lot (on par with a lot of you folks) but that was off the hook, complete with fights, drunks, women being carried away on peoples shoulders, and just general mayhem as a good GNR concert should be.   :rofl:

I'd agree with this.  Axl gave a warning that this was going to be a rare one.

I think it shows a lot of balls and confidence to throw a song like Prostitute into the mix at this stage of the game - bravo boys

Hate to state the obvious - but this entire reunion and comeback has been nothing short of amazing and if they ever want to capture the right time and mood to get in the studio and release something with this lineup again - just do it - after this tour, whatever..

Yeah, first time they play a new song (especially a cd song) it's a little clunky.  Still great to hear. 

It's funny to think that a lot of folks thought the reunion wouldn't play any CD songs...now they've played more than half the album. 

Apparently folks at MyGNR heard Atlas Shrugged and another song (possibly The General?). Wasn't there a rumor that Slash was recording on Atlas for an upcoming release?  The General was called the "sequel" to Estranged, so it would make sense for Slash to record on that as well. Wonder if they'll give those a try on this current leg.

Wow, Prostitute! One of my fave GNR songs, definitely my favourite CD song.

I'd be astonished if we ever heard anything of those songs again, let alone them play them on this tour. Crazy talk.

This was more recent. Kaneda (the dude behind the Dr. Pepper campaign) heard them this week and said they were fantastic. I don't know what it means as far as them playing new stuff live, but we've seen before where there's smoke there's sometimes fire as far as what's in the pipes.

Well, that's got to be the best 'Prostitute' live version yet.

Mostly because of Axl.  He really nails it.  God damn.  Even the hook, the harderst part to replicate, (although he's obviously a bit out of time on the second pass) is pretty much just like the album.

The quirky thing is that his voice in 2017 is perfect for this particular song.

Done a little bit of research in this, and I'm calling bullshit on it. Seems to be one guy claiming he has it- with no evidence to suggest he has. Personally I don't believe one fan alone has heard two unreleased tracks.

I'm willing to be proved wrong of course- but I'm extremely cynical on this.

Totally agree.  I wouldn't mind hearing them tackle a new CD song every night!  I feel like its a win-win for the band.  The band gets to play a different song, its not replacing one of the hits so casual fans won't care what they hear in that regard, hardcore fans are excited to hear a new deep cut.

To be honest and I guess to be expected, most of the people in my section sat down when they played Prostitute. I think I was the only one who was still rocking out at that point, maybe a handful of others. That was the case for most of the CD songs, especially later in the show. Although some of that might have just been people not wanting to stand for 3.5 hours and looking for spots to rest. The crowd still cheered respectfully for them when they finished.

I definitely had to sit at certain points.  I was up for Prostitute though because I knew I hadn't heard Slash and Duff playing it.

As a sitter, does it bother you if the person on front of you is a stander? I always get self conscious that you can?t see but not bad enough to sit down...
