The show was awesome… Axl was amazing, voice was powerful. I’ve been to a lot of GNR shows and that was one of the best. The absolute torrential rain made it even more special. Axl talked a lot… they would’ve kept playing if not for the curfew. He said “I’ve just been told we have time for one more.” A friend sent me a picture of the set list preshow… it ended up being pretty close. Interesting that one of the alternates was Back in Black… would’ve cool to hear that. They sounded amazing... but it seemed like the water may have messed with Slash's rig a little, he had to swap out guitars twice during the set.
Even being waterlogged, this was one of my favorite shows yet. Had to go get my rain jacket and take cover.... I live in Boston and this summer has been extremely rainy, it's been raining every other day and when it rains it is torrential rain like the one yesterday.
