Loook I want this new band to be successful just as much as everyone else....but I very much doubt that, for me anyway, that they will surpass the band from the 80's & 90's.

NuGnR is the term I use to distinguish the two entities....if you don't like it tough luck, deal with it.....It's not meant to be offensive peace

It's the "nu" aspect that's offensive to some of us. nu=nu-Metal = Limp Bizkit, Korn and other various late 90's early 2000's crap bands. Even if you love and respect the original GN'R above all else (and no one can blame anyone for that)- I think it's still bullshit to associate the new line-up with that late 90's nu-metal shite.

I do appreciate the need for differentiating between the two entities however, and do so frequently myself, BUT

"New Guns N' Roses", or "New GN'R" would be better and much appreciated. ok

I always make sure to say the 2006 version of guns n roses or the revamped guns n roses..

nugnr makes me cringe.

I don't really see what the big deal is NuGNR...revamped GNR, lots of us on the different boards have at one time or another called it that.

Not my problem you guys make such a big deal out of "classifying" bands.....NuGnR, New GnR, Revamped GnR what's the fucking difference honestly.


you guys think I'm comparing NuGnR to Korn and Bizkit? get your heads examined.

at least I'm not calling them "Axl and the Hired Guns" like i used to. Kiss

No thanks.. there is two different bands here.. Real GNR.. and NuGNR.. Do you really think that this is the same band as the 87 band?? just listen to the tommy interveiw a few weeks ago!! i dont think duff ever went on radio while he was in the band and said.. no talk about gnr!!! Hell these hired guns dont even act like there in the band!!

Ill add this Real GNR is my favorite band NuGNR is my second favorite band!
