Whoever has been to the Hard Rock for a show....can you explain the seating?

Looks like they have tables to the left and the right, GA up front, then regular seats in the back??  Is this right?  And is every seat in the house pretty good to get?  Want to have an idea when they go on sale saturday.  Also, it says that they go on sale at 12pm.  Is this eastern time?

All GA floor I think? Some tables upstairs - not sure if they're GA or reserved.

Not sure how the GA is formatted.  You have different sections and may have to stand behind that fence??

Saw Soundgarden at the Joint over the summer. It was all GA, the place basically looks like a  big House of Blues. They had rails set up probably every 15-20 feet or so in the GA area, not sure the purpose. Never seen that before and not sure if that is how they do it with all shows. But the venue is AMAZING.

Looks like the balcony (only stated as being 155 ft from the stage) is a good place...if you want a seat??  It's not GA up there is it?

I never ventured up there but they did have some round cocktail tables from what I saw. It looks like the balcony would be a cool place to see the show though for sure.

Hilton is off the strip, but is a really nice hotel.  Shouldn't be that much of a Taxi cost to the Hard Rock.  Have fun Cotis !

Short walk, taxi, or transit bus ride - not worried about that.

Thanks for the heads up though!

Very excited to hear this news, even though I can't go this time.

GNR in Vegas is an amazing event, and new year's eve, even better!  For everyone who is thinking about going, you should - this show will blow you away.  It will be a hell of a party and the venue is very small (even though they expanded it since 06).

Last time in Sept. 2006, I managed to not even wait in line and get a good spot, probably 20-25 feet from the stage.  A show like this is probably your best bet to get as close up as possible!  I hope you guys rock it for me!!

Screw it, I'm going. The airfare is going to suck but in the long run, it will all be worth it.

I'm thinking of just paying for airfare, ticket, no hotel just stay up all night, then flying back the next morning.  Then again pay day is Monday and the tix will be all sold out.
