The seatings ... Cat A, B and C: If I'm right, then A and C will get you stuck at a seat, and B makes you free to go whereever you want? ;-)

It'd be nice if they would confirm this from Guns' side, not that fussed about just buying tickets, but seeing that the venues aren't big there aren't many options. I noticed tickets are on sale at the site in the post above, but not at the others. Down side is that you'll (or me in any case) will have to pick up the tickets an hour before the show, that sucks.

They can't send you tickets abroad via registered airmail?
Cat. 2 is General Admission (but no access to balconies).

Paris in 2006 was a blast for me, really cool show with very passionate fans.

It'll be cool to do it again, lets hope GN'R announce these soon.  Smiley

(also in regards to the delivery info, in 2006 I got mine delivered to me. I guess they will again let you choose recorded delivery, or a print ticket option.)

I'll try to go to those 3 concerts if I can. Z?nith arenas aren't too big (there are many in France) but usually sound isn't great (like in Bercy). I guess it means GN'R will be in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland around those dates (those 3 countries share a border with France, not far from the shows).

For those interested, this will be the first time GN'R play in France since 2006, and the first French "tour" since 1993! They only played one concert in Paris in 2006. This is great news for every French GN'R fan!

Of course Smiley And I love Italy (Forza Inter!) but I didn't think about it because the French concerts are more in the northern and north-eastern part of France Wink

But I'm confident they'll play in Italy too: probably Milan (at the San Siro/ Giuseppe Meazza? lol) and Turin at least. Maybe Rome? Smiley

Is there any way to see a diagram of the venue?, can't seem to find one (Bercy).

So Cat 2 is basically general admission right?, so Cat 1 must be reserved seating, but what is Cat 3?. Is it just upper and lower levels?.

As I had seats in 2006 for the Paris show, this time I want to stand, so I guess I choose Cat 2?.

Cat 3 is upper levels. You'll be really far from the stage. Here's a map of the venue :

I couldn't find a map for those venues (well, not one related to GN'R's concerts).

GDP.fr says the following:

Cat.1 (close to the stage): reserved seats
Cat.2: general admission
Cat.3 (far from the stage): seated (reserved in Paris and Lille, not reserved in Amn?ville)

Edit: I did find a map on Fnac.com for Amn?ville:

("gradins" means balconies, "parterre debout" means general admission and "scene" means stage)

And here's one for Lille:

("tribune haute" means upper lovel, "tribune basse" means lower level and "scene" means stage)

Sorry, they didn't have better quality maps Wink

Hey, Band members, it's been years of following, after shit years ( some of you know ) you know what would really cheer me up ? two backstage passes, simply to stay hello and talk a bit. I'm 35 now, passed my prime lol...won't be a bother, just a lil meet and greet sorta...

Cheers...

France is a cool place.  Ron has lots of fans there.

I have just purchased my Paris, Bercy ticket.  Grin

I just want to check, I chose the E - Ticket option, and for those who have done the same as me. I believe the ticket covers half an A4 page, is this the same for everybody else?.

I just want to make sure as my E - Ticket for Toronto, covered all of the page.

The categories are the same. It's just that cat.3 doesn't have numbered seats, so you can sit anywhere in that category.

This website, for example, sells tickets for Amneville :
http://www.ticketnet.fr/shop/fr/manif.asp?idmanif=203226&idtier=78768#AncreTopPage

It's nice because you can pick the gate you want (it seems they only have two blocks left though). You can either print out the ticket or have sent it to you.

Another URL :
http://www.fnacspectacles.com/place-spectacle/manifestation/Hard-rock-Metal-GUNS-N--ROSES-AGUNS.htm#

In this case, pick "GRADINS" rather than "GRADIN HAUT".

Down side is that you'll (or me in any case) will have to pick up the tickets an hour before the show, that sucks.

They can't send you tickets abroad via registered airmail?
Cat. 2 is General Admission (but no access to balconies).

no option for that so it seems. Just stated that tickets must be collected an hour before show. ah well. saves me panicking about losing it i guess! thanks for the info in this thread. quite tempted by Bercy as well...

You can always just choose E - Ticket.

But you might prefer to have a proper ticket, but I feel it's just as good if not a better choice. You can print off as many as you want to keep in your backpack, pocket, wallet, just incase you loose one. I guess it's OK to choose Will Call, but I love having an option of choosing an E - Ticket as I feel it helps alot.  Smiley

I may also be going to Lille too.  Grin

Down side is that you'll (or me in any case) will have to pick up the tickets an hour before the show, that sucks.

Reckless, i've offered a french address (on the Dutch Forum) to have your tickets send to...so i can pick them up in July when i'm there.

Really appreciate your offer, but I've already taken care of it! Hadn't seen your post in any case. Luckily I have an uncle and aunt living in France, so they've ordered my tickets and I think they shipped them to Holland yesterday.

I have my tickets for Paris and Lille send to my home (in the Netherlands)..

I'm also planning on going to Paris and Lille, it'll be nice to meet up after we failed to do so in Toronto.

With the tickets, my feeling is it's nice to have a proper ticket. But to me the security of having it on my computer, and knowing I can print it out mutliple times. Is more important than just having a nice ticket for the sake of it, getting in the show is more important to me.

Looking forward to these dates very much, can't wait.  Wink

Yea, E-tickets are really reassuring  Grin

I suppose there'll be another topic in the tour forum, summing up all who're going.

This reminds me so much of the ones I saw in 2006, also at the station.

Can't wait to go to Paris again, the weather in 2006 was brilliant on the day. I just remember walking up to the Omnisports Arena in 06, and everyone was chilling out outside the venue, smoking, talking, just having a good time.  Smiley

I would definitely rate the Bercy show in 06 as one of my favourite GN'R shows in 06.

Hi,

I posted this in "GnR on tour" but it doesnt seem to have had a reply yet so thought I'd try my luck here instead Smiley

I'm very likely to be going to Lille gig, but we'll be in a minibus driving from the Eurotunnel at Calais.  Does anyone know what the parking situation will be like near the venue?

Thanks
