[Updates] Las Vegas, 1st show, 10.31.2012, Halloween

Ok, so now that I'm somewhat awake, I can comprehend a bit more. GREAT SHOW. 1 down, 11 to go. I don't think the catwalks will be there tomorrow...just a hunch. And, as I already said, I got Axl's whistle! Tomorrow I will definitely get more rest before the show. Getting home at 5am makes work a bitch.

What makes you think there will be no catwalks?

Looked like the main 'new'addition. What did you think of them??

Just a hunch. Axl didn't really use them much, only DJ seemed into them. Just heard a rumor is all. I personally didn't like them. I like to move around a lot during shows, and unless you were in the center, they'd block the view of the stage. I'd imagine the people on the second level on the sides were kinda blocked too? I don't know anyone who sat up there, so I don't know for sure. But we'll see.

They did and they didn't... they said pictures were ok but not to record anything and the way I got away with filming was I kept pretending to hit the shoot button on my camera and didn't keep my eyes glues to my camera's display screen.  Security almost didn't let me in as my digital camera is a Sony and about 4 1/2 inches thick with a nice zoom on it and they said only pocket sized cameras would be allowed and told me I need to check my camera at the Bell Desk. I explained how I just got married and I had wedding pictures on this camera and I promise I won't use it.  With that said security said fine just don't take it out.

2)  How long did you wait to be all the way up front?
here's my timeline for the day/night; I arrived at The Hard Rock at 2pm and ate at the Pink Taco then had a few GnR themed drinks at the bar till 3:30pm then stood in line.. Line formed at 7pm I was first, then let us in at 8:15pm, opening band 333 came on at 9pm and played till 10pm then came back and was told they were asked by The Joint to play 15 minutes more... they did cover songs.  The mix on 333 was total shit I couldn't understand a word the lead singer was singing, GnR came on close to 11pm and played till almost 3am.

3) Did you see any bad members out by the casino area?
Yes I saw Dizzy, Frank, DJ and Ron.

***TIP after the show the line for cabs was CRAZY... probably a 1+hr long wait so I walked a block to the next hotel and got a cab 1,2,3 no wait

I called the Hard Rock hotel yesterday to find out if they have parking, in preparation for my trip to see GNR. They answered the phone "Hard Rock Hotel, home of Guns and Roses"! I loved it!! Can't wait to see them again at the Joint!!
