Title: Paradise City-rock in rio 3 Post by: bolton on June 09, 2004, 10:30:52 AM for years my favorite gnr live song was paradise city (especialy from ritz 1988 and rio 1991),but paradise city from rio 2001 was something amazing and for me the best live version of that song.

Did they have a train to take? secondly it sounded "metal". THE GUITAR SOUNDED Metal while Paradise City is a pure Rock n' Roll song. However I recognize there was a lot of energy when they played it. My best "new" GN'R version of that song is the CHICAGO 2002 version :o at the end, buckethead + fink + fortus were doing guitar solos at the same time. amazing version. THE MSG one kicked ass too.
