During a live interview yesterday with L.A.'s XTRA Sports Talk 690 Cannon Talk to promote the event, Vince says, "Today M?tley Cr?e confirmed sixty dates for next year for our new tour with all the original members. It's basically our farewell/reunited tour."

Correction:
Newspaper: M?TLEY CR?E To Headline SWEDEN ROCK 2004 - Nov. 16, 2003

The Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet is reporting in its Nov. 16 print edition that M?TLEY CR?E will be headlining next year's installment of Sweden Rock festival (as first predicted here last week), set to be held June 10-12, 2004 in S?lvesborg, Sweden. The article goes on to state that the event organizers are it talks with at least one other classic hard rock band about performing at the festival (believed to be JUDAS PRIEST).
The first few confirmations for the annual gala will be announced at the Sweden Rock 2004 kick-off party at Draken in Stockholm on November 28. DORO is headlining the kick-off concert, with additional performances expected from TEN 67, TEN JINN and SPEARFISH. Also appearing will be the Swedish "all-star" cover band MONSTERS OF METAL, featuring vocalist Mats Lev?n (KRUX, AT VANCE, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), guitarist Fredrik ?kesson (TALISMAN), bassist Johan Nieman (THERION) and drummer Sami Karppinen (ex-THERION).

MONSTERS OF METAL will perform covers of songs from such acts as IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST, SLAYER, QUEENSR?CHE, KING DIAMOND and MOT?RHEAD.

Edit: It won't happen this year (it was not roskilde) but back to the topic:

Will gnr play05? These festivals seems to be right up gnr's alley...

how the fuck am i off topic? your the one who brought up the Crue.. and anyways i dont think if GnR were even asked to play they would show up .. they have no guitar player and they know that they would not be the headliners... an original Motley Crue would headline this festival(new gnr would not headline this if motley were there)... original Motley would wipe the fucking floor with new GnR..

hands down... Tommy Lee drumming again would be better than seeing Jersey man sing songs from over 10 years ago...

Well, wiping the floor with gnr... yes
Anyway when people saying roskilde 05 is not planned yet and doubting that bands confriming they together again, i need to give the source... right?

But the topic was about gnr. They have this tradition with big festivals (rio, leeds, you name it) and it looks like we won't see gnr this festivalseason.

It  is very likely for them to play those festivals if they continue... And the rumor is that the interest for this band to play is huge

With that fat, drunk vinnie on the vocals... Roskilde don't actually have a headliner band... it just some bands are bigger than other and it's the arguing on who gets the best timeslot, fireworks and stuff...
