When Guns N’ Roses signed to Geffen Records on March 26, 1986, for an estimated $250,000, no one could imagine that less than three years later the band would be one of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll. Many speculated that Geffen would never even recoup its initial advance payment of approximately $37,000 to the irresponsible, drug-addled degenerates.

Do you think Guns will have a song on the Deadpool 3 soundtrack?

No, I don't think so. They are taking a break in 2024.

The answer to "Will they have a song on (insert movie name) soundtrack?" is always no.

Considering the number of movies that get released every year, and the number with actual GN'R songs in them, yes that's correct most of the time.

If someone had asked if there would be any GN'R in the Thor movie two years ago, most would've said "no" as well.... But that time there was!  hihi

Good point. I guess it's implied that it would be an unreleased song.

Jump to conclusions in the GuNiveRse:
Song in a movie, must be a new song.
No tour, must mean the band is working on a new record in a studio.

They just up the merch on sweet child stuff so they must be hoping for a hit with the movie.  When does the movie come out?

When Axl said his Malibu home wasn't his primary residence, maybe he has switched it to Montana.  Big sky country, been there a few times long ago, it's beautiful.  Glacier National park is there.  Going to the sun road.  Cool even in the summer.

GNR seems to be getting some notice:

I've heard them more lately on satellite radio too.

Slash told Trunk GNR are touring next year, didn't say where.  Guess he's not leaving anytime soon.  Cheesy  The news want to cover it more as GNR is making a new album.  Guess they don't care about a tour.

Jump over to MyGNR, they have links and are chatting about it.  It's a long ways off.  I'm not feeling ticket prices for concerts or big stadium shows.  I think I may be lazy and let others hunt for the links.   hihi  Yeah, my GNR ass is dragging.
