Thats what Tommy told a writer for an article he did a couple weeks ago. I remember reading the article, so this could be legit.

Gnr members may be returning to camp mid-November. I will check this further though

I will tell you where this came from in a few days. All I will say is look out for lots of Tommy interviews over the next few weeks  A note to Tommy concert attendees, he told a Seattle DJ yesterday not to talk about gnr during an interview so he may be a tougher nut to crack this time around.

Well, Col. Claypool is only touring to the 7th of Nov as of now, so i guess it's theoretically possible he will join up with tha rest of them who'll be windin their tours down (we think). Perhaps then rehearsals for a mini-tour in Europe? Cheesy Undecided

I feel bad for Tommy, everyone just wants to talk GnR with him and isnt giving his solo cd a fair chance. They should know by now he cant tell anyone anything.

This doesn't really kill the november rumor, because several bands don't start their tour until a month or so after their new album comes out.  A few examples Red hot chili pepers, Audioslave, and Metallica I believe.  Do you have any input on that Mysteron?

and what i said about a month ago after attending one of tommy's concerts? hihi beer...

Ok, so that's it for the concert. It was very good. Let me move on to what happened after the concert. I met this guy who was like the biggest psychedelic furs/love spit love/ replacements fan in the world. He was a cool guy. He knew all the guys who had just played cuz he goes to all their shows, so he was able to talk to them and he was basically friends with them through that. It's important to note that he was not a guns n roses fan at all- he basically spent the whole night trying to tell me how awesome the furs and replacements were. So after talking to him for a while he was like "yea, tommy and fortus have been real busy lately, theyre trying to squeeze tours in before january because that's when axl wants them back. " at this point my jaw hit the floor, cuz we hadnt discussed gnr much at all. so i played it cool and was like "really? but its axl, he says january now but it will probably be moved back." he was like, well i dunno, but both fortus and stinson have told me that he wants them in january.

Chinese Democracy Is Coming Some Day!!!

« Reply #27 on: August 26, 2004, 05:56:41 PM »

Same old song and dance!

Hell maybe guns can have a special live pay per view performance from the moon. By then there should be some kind of space lab on the moon.

Janurary 2020 now live from the John Glenn Space Center on the moon playing the greatest hits from Appetite for Destruction here are Guns N Roses. Positive sides of playing on the moon Axl wont have to toat around an oxygen tank because he will have a space suit to wear.

There is a thread called the Frustration Thread in the Dead Horse section. I suggest you go there or be fair with others who actually have substantial posts.

By this point I think we have a legitimate chance we can see something by the end of this year. I think Axl knows if he waits much longer someone ( record label, band members, promoters) will lose their patience.

Guns camp.  Are they roasting marshmellows and going on fishing trips or what?  Does the camp even mean anything.  I think they mean they will return to finish what Axl wants.  And when Axl gets what he wants he will put the album out on HIS OWN time.  Not anyone elses times including his own record label.

It's a reference to the people around Axl who work for him.  It's a pretty commonly used term, i'm surprised that you aren't familar with it.

At the moment i'd be happy for the record company to cut Axl off finanically unless he sets a release date within six months and actually sticks to it.  This may be an artistic venture for Axl but the record company exists to make money and as long as Axl is jerking them around, they aren't.

I wonder how Axl is able to keep this up, I mean the expectations are so high, maybe he is afraid to return and not shake the world. The best thing would be that he releases whatever songs he has so we can move on with our lives. Madagascar and Chineses Democracy sound awesome,. I don't understand why can't he just release those damn songs! This year would have been perfect, but of course, its almost gone and no good news about the release.
