They had a commercial on advertising what I'm assuming is a weekly live music show I believe was called "Audiovox."  The featured band was Camp Freddy.  Interestingly enough, as they mentioned the members, the announcer made the distinction between Duff of GNR and Matt Sorum and Scott Weiland of Velvet Revolver...Doubt it means anything, but speculate away.....

that would be the one, but again it's just odd that they distinctly separated duff of GNR (as opposed to formerly) from matt n scott of VR

Scott Weiland, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum performed with Camp Freddy on April 9th in Las Vegas. They performed 'Surrender' which will air on Spike TV on April 18th on a show called 'Autorox'. There is also a short video clip of some great backstage footage, commentary by Billy Morrison and a short clip of 'Surrender'. Click the link below to view the video:
