I was just watching that infamous KFC video from a few years back when the chickens get tortured by KFC employees. In the background you can hear them listening to Civil War and Paradise City while they are throwing chickens against the walls and jumping on them. Maybe Buckethead watched this video and now has some post-traumatic stress disorder. When he hears the voice of Axl it may bring back the memories of these tortured chickens and it drives him mad...He had no choice but to quit Gnr. He would still be in Gnr if it wasn't for this stupid video! Blame the KFC employees for the cancelled Rock In Rio in 2004, not Buckethead.

That's actually a completely different thing in most societies.

What I mean is that killing an animal so you can eat and survive is one thing and torturing an animal is a completely different thing in the view of most societies.

It's not about what I think, I'm talking about what most societies of today think.

Well chickens aren't usually killed by being thrown at walls and being stomped on.

I know they aren't dancing fuckin ballet but at least they are a little bit more "humane." This is one of the reasons why famous people (i.e. Pam Anderson) have taken action against KFC.

yes but still, killing is killing. wether you kick someone's ass before you kill him/it or not, it's still the same.. that's why i don't like it when people who eat those animals complain about them bein tortured... cause that's hypocritical imo.
but i don't wanna discuss that too much on the gnr board

I know killing is killing, but they should give the chickens some "respect." Oh well. It is what it is  Undecided

Then why does Buckethead promote KFC by wearing one of their fucking buckets on his head?

Buckethead was raised by chickens in a fortified chicken coup on Mt. Fuji. ?And without the bucket on his head he's helpless.

He wears the bucket as an homage to all the disgustingly tortured chickens, hence the word "Funeral" on the bucket ok

Wrong.... Funeral is a tribute to the old-model KFC Bucket. He particularly likes the old striped one and thinks it's really sad it got replaced.

Animal cruelty is just not on. To me sure, we have to kill em for food, but why does it have to be done in a torturis way...why not a quick bang or something that lasts for a split second.

Either way the reason Buckethead left is probably because he didnt have the patience to continue the yet to be released project. Some people are fine doing Axl's album delay thing till its "perfect", others like VR would rather record somethin spruce it up a lil but not too much or overproduced, & put out in the stores. Different strokes for different folks
