They seem to contradict themselves saying that Paradise City will be running until the 19th, and Better in early November.
Maybe they meant to put December! Who knows.

why even bother to figure GNR out? nothing makes sense or runs smoothly....it can drive you crazy if you believe GNR camp, b/c lots of things don't happen when they are supposed. They might happen, they might never happen....contradictions everywhere, strange happenings all the time....its all so bizarre sometimes.

You know when you really look at the press release, all it does is talk about the PC version and say it will run through today. It says there will be an "alternate" version with better, but it doesn't say when it will air at all. I think it was supposed to be an alternate, meaning not the main one, meaning maybe just on the site or aired sparingly (and really i've always thought the better version wasn't as good because of using two different parts of the song and not being as in synch with the video).
In other words i think the better version was simply scrapped at some point, or it would have been used all month, and i think the PC version is done airing now.

Are you blind? I provided the press release. It CLEARLY states that the Better version was supposed to start airing in EARLY NOVEMBER. I may be an idiot, but November 19th is well past "early November." As for the last part of your post, I completely agree with you! I honestly think the "Better" launch got completely scrapped, probably because the album release got scrapped as well.

Yeah... the release said the better version would be "launching early november," whatever that means.
I don't remember, when was it removed from the site, before that?

My only point is that when they called it an alternate version, i think that meant it was to be significantly less visible anyway, just sort of a novelty, but either way i think it's scrapped now.

Thats because it was made with Paradise City in mind, they obviously rushed it and just put better over the top as best they could. Either way i doubt we will see it for a while, looks like someones plans have changed!!
