Does anybody know if the CD is copy-protected?

It probably will be, yes.  If you want to rip it, disable autorun.

I am having trouble ripping to itunes....how would I disable autorun on itunes?

There is a skip, but I think it's due to poor production in Pro Tools rather than a physical defect on the discs.

Yep, mine has the bug at 1:19.  No physical defect from the disc, though.  Something in the recording.

Sucks I guess, but no biggie.

I guess instead of "Scraped" you can just nick-name the track "Skipped".

maybe it's not a defect or anything . Could be the way they wanted the thing to be.

No way.. It's a flaw in production for sure.  The song would need to be remixed / remastered to fix it.  I didn't even notice it after listening to the song about 15 times before I saw this thread, so it is MINOR.  But now I'll hear it everytime dammit!  Thanks alot!

After listening to Scraped on the Myspace page, I can confirm the bug is indeed there, but at 2:12 instead of 1:19.  The Myspace track is slightly different than the one on the CD.  Lyrically though it occurs at the same spot.  1st line of the 2nd verse.

"Sometimes I feel like my life's a catastrophe."

It happens on the word "my".

Doesn't seem intentional to me, but only one man knows for sure.

There is definitely a "defect" at 1:19.

Axl's voice kinda takes a few millisecond reverse there. It doesn't seem like an auto-tuning problem, more like problem with the vocal track layering?

I guess thats what you get for rushing things  Grin

Im undr the impression that its supposed to be there.  They are playing with vocals, cut and paste type stuff, all over this song.  Its not a flaw.

People on various boards say there is a skip at 1:19 of "Scraped." Has anyone else had a problem?

UPDATE: A few others have stated that their discs DO NOT skip. It seems this may be an isolated defect (thank God).

Nope! No Skip!

There is a flaw at 1:19.

On the CD, Vinyl, and iTunes versions. I heard all versions today.

It doesnt sound like a skip, more like a hiccup or record scratch on the word "MY" which I still feel was intended.

My vinyl has some skipping issues right out of the package.  I may take it back for a new copy.
