I think Steven Adler will accept an award in recognition of the anniversary and then pawn said award for drug money. I'm not even joking.

Actually... I can't think of a more fitting memorial to Appetite For Destruction than that...

well if you look at the last few years, each year has had an october. So I'm predicting, 2007 will include the month of october, probably in the latter half.

Maybe the next albums in the series will come out

Cuban Democracy?
North Korean Democracy?

That'd be awesome...

I was actually thinking about it.

Lots of bands on the Universal label have deluxe editions of cds come out on special anny's of the album (like the NIN - Downward Spiral deluxe edition, or the Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe edition).

A 20th anny remastered edition of AFD with a second cd of unreleased tracks (Crash Diet, ect.) and demos (november rain) would be awesome.

? Yo folks, (hey mods, sorry if this has been posted,I'm too lazy to look)

I'm as happy as everyone about the recent news (gnr.com + tour) but,I was wondering about what will next year bring?

It is the 20th Anniversary of "Appetite for Destruction" being released. Will we see a special enhanced cd come out to celebrate? Remastered, with a DVD,ya know, all that stuff.

Maybe a one day truce among all of the old band members to do some Hard Rock Cafe party.

It is a monumental album,so it would be fitting to do something cool to celebrate it.

? ?Just thinkin'........

I still can't believe that I missed the release of Appetite for Destruction. I must have been working WAY too hard. I didn't even discover GNR until 1992. When Chinese Democracy is released there will be lots of GRAMMY nominations!!!

Maybe Axl will release that Re-Recorded version next year.? That'd rock!

Not so sure it would. I mean that's kinda like messing with the Bible of hard rock albums. I'm not gonna lie and say I wouldn't be interested in hearing it but.......  Undecided
