Slightly dissapointed there's no Lille this time, as it's somewhere that's easy to get to for myself from the UK. But I will definitely look into the other French shows too. ;)

I would presume that most, if not all of these are arena shows... can't wait for this, the French definitely know how to welcome Guns N' Roses onto their shores. :love:

(Yes, I am pretty certain they are arena shows.....judging by the venue names etc.)

Also Paris and GN'R are one of those special shows that's alot like GN'R in Vegas, NY, London or Tokyo. It's one of those "have to be there" shows, and I love the feeling of seeing Guns in such a special city.

Paris is one of those magical cities and to put on a Guns N' Roses show there, just makes it heavenly. 8)

I know this is probably a standard question but how do yo go about getting pre-sale info for shows like this. Is it only a certain place, for instance a radio station or competition where they would let the information out.

I have been on pre-sales before but those where the ones in which HTGTH set up. I can't see anyway to find any information about getting information for both Paris and Dublin shows?. :-\

For french dates, what they call "pre-sales" is just because on Feb 2d you can order your tickets via the booker website; kind of exclusive sale before the general sales.
It's not related to Gn'R camp, or radio or something else it's just a deal between the booker and the dealers (fnac, Virgin...) : ok:

So, the dates pre sales will start on Feb 2 on www.gdp.fr, and the day after in stores (Fnac, Virgin....) and websites like fnac.com, ticketnet.com ... ;)

I'm gonna wait until the general sale starts as I've ordered via ticketnet before, and have never had any problems. Really looking forward to this Paris show, but I'm still bummed that there's no Lille. Especially seeing as there seems to be more variety of cities this time round as well. So it would seem to make sense to stick Lille in there too, considering the success of the 2010 show. :D

Lille was no success to me and it went all horribly wrong. I just don't know what happened and why I was too drunk to get anything out of it. I'd really like to go back there :rant:

I've never been to southern France so I'm considering that as well.

i'm going to the shows in Paris, Strasbourgh, Toulose and Toulon, but it might change....was planning on Lyon...but i've never been to Strasbourgh...so already changed that. Would be nice to meet up!

but also slightly planning the NY shows....somewhere i hope my friend can't go...good excuse of not going either...lots of planning in only 2 weeks time...new passport and such...

Toulon is not a very nice city, but you can find nice beaches ( = "plages du mourillon"). All around you have nice little town as "Le Castellet" (medieval city), "Sanary sur mer" or the national park of Port Cros ( http://www.portcrosparcnational.fr/accueil/ ).
And I can bet that the weather will be hot and sunny!

I'm thinking about a summer trip in south France beaches+ Toulon concert. Could anyone reccomend a good vacation spot in the erea, specifically a good beach town?

This is a really awesome news. I last saw no one is innocent about 15 years ago in Montreal. I used to wear their t-shirt until it turned out more grey than black. I will be glad to see their set in Strasbourg.
