Maybe they're trying to make a dvd from different concerts. To preserve continuity they try to keep everything the same.

Too bad, looks like the battery died.

I've only seen him doing it in Auckland. And the crowd there *was* insane. When you turned around, you could see people up in the nosebleed sections jumping and dancing - the crowd down in GA was pretty rowdy too, I saw too many people being carried out who were barely conscious. I guess since Chiba is sold out (and Jarmo says the crowd is wild), Axl's comment might just be in place. So maybe there's no secret meaning behind it after all - Axl says "Good evening <city/country>" every night too, and I think he just means it Smiley peace

Yeah I know, I was just making a joke.  A funny observation.  I just remember that being said at one of the recent concerts.  A coincidence I am sure.  Did they really go onstage at 6:35 Japan time?  Why so early?
